@BocaoRD is recognized as one of the influencers in the gastronomic field who has a great authority in many latin countries. Defined by CNN as a referent for foodies in Dominican Republic, Bocaord surpasses 110,000 followers on social media, mainly in Instagram where they share their lifestyle experiences.
The Client’s need
@BocaoRD needed to share their experiences beyond Instagram where they have their main audience. They wanted to create a tool to enable their team sharing their food tastings, recommendations and articles in a fresh and easy way. With a competitive online market in the restaurant field, Bocaord urged us to create a tool with high differentiating values.
We developed a custom solution that allowed the customer to create all types of contents and index them in an advanced search engine. Further more, we enabled their users to create profiles with a single click via Facebook and Twitter integrations.
The website also integrates a review system that helps the users make better decisions regarding their next gastronomic experience. Ideologic Team also created tools such as wish lists for restaurant, table reservation and online delivery by local providers to enhance the user experience on the website. Our comprehensive solution allowed @BocaoRD to display the photographs in a unique and pleasant way to their users.
This project was born in collaboration with Claudia Rodríguez (Design) and Carlos Lluberes (SEO).
Update: Today the website www.bocao.com.do is the # 1 tool for foodies in Rep. Dom.
